Mighty Hoopla

2018 PR Campaign

The Brief

Having successfully launched Mighty Hoopla’s first green field festival in 2017, Full Fat was tasked with building on this success and navigating the festival’s move to a new South London location.

Solution

Full Fat created a vibrant and creative PR campaign that positively communicated the festival’s change of location whilst speaking to a much bigger audience via more high profile media placements.

Full Fat ensured momentum through an ongoing press office with media, news, key feature placement, artist liaison, influencer outreach and trade profiling, aiding the curation of innovative content throughout.

“The most fabulous of all fests, Mighty Hoopla is a queer pop-focused celebration of trash, camp & drag.”

The Guardian

“If there is a sillier, glitterier, more fun festival than this one-day affair, we will eat our jewel-encrusted unicorn horns and tutus.”

metro

“It [Mighty Hoopla] rewrites the rules of what a music festival should be, using glitter and glamour to turn a tired old formula on its head while celebrating modern LGBT+ culture in the simplest way possible – with drinking, singing and dancing.”
