The Account Director or Senior Account Director will be a strategic leader, focused on delivering exceptional client services, campaign direction, and strategic leadership. This position will collaborate closely with key clients to develop and execute impactful campaigns, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of client needs and a strong track record of driving growth and success. They will have a strong confidence in marketing knowledge and ability to work on campaign activations, a burgeoning network of cultural contacts to leverage for collaborations and a experience in brokering and managing partnerships.

We are seeking a strategic, dynamic, and solution-oriented Group PR Account Director to lead a global alcohol brand account. This role requires a balance of creativity, strategic thinking, and operational excellence to drive impactful campaigns and foster trusted client relationships. You will oversee global partner agencies, manage high-profile projects, and guide a talented internal team to deliver exceptional results across a number of markets.

ROLE OVERVIEW
As Group PR Account Director, you will lead the global account for a renowned alcohol brand, acting as the main client contact while managing partner agencies, toolkits, assets, and timelines. You’ll guide the team and build strong, collaborative relationships with clients and cross-agency partners, ensuring the delivery of impactful, strategically aligned work that drives results.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Global Account Leadership
Act as the primary client contact and trusted partner, fostering strong relationships with day-to-day and senior stakeholders across key markets including China, Singapore, Germany, Ukraine, Denmark, Canada, HK, MY&SG, Vietnam and Serbia Group
Lead the development and execution of the global PR strategy, ensuring alignment with client goals and market needs
Collaborate with and manage partner agencies worldwide, ensuring consistent delivery and adherence to strategic objectives
Act as an escalation point, confidently resolving issues and guiding the team through challenges
Coordinating key campaigns, developing the overarching campaign strategy, setting goals, managing the budget, allocating resource and execution - ensuring all reporting metrics are in place and results are communicated effectively
Working collaboratively with the Director of Brand
Strategic Mindset
Maintain a solid understanding of the client's business context and strategic objectives, ensuring all work aligns with these goals
Provide cultural insights and advise clients on relevant moments, partnerships, and reactive opportunities for brand activation
Work closely with the Client Services Director and Director of Brand on responses to briefs and challenges on the development of the global strategy. Plus critical thinking and problem solving abilities to address varying market challenges
Project & Team Management
Oversee the development of comprehensive toolkits, press materials, and campaign guidelines for local markets
Guide and support the Group Account Manager and PR Executive, holding the team accountable for delivering high-quality work
Manage timelines, budgets, and internal processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and within commercial targets
Take ownership of larger projects, ensuring smooth processes and exceptional outcomes
Media & Influencers
Leverage a deep understanding of the global media landscape to deliver impactful brand storytelling in a competitive space
Lead the management of high-profile press, influencer, and KOL events, ensuring seamless execution by the agency and its partners and positive results in multiple markets
Oversee influencer strategy delivery across earned, paid, and owned channels, delivering authentic and effective collaborations
Cultural & Industry Knowledge
Stay tapped into cultural trends, providing clients with opportunities to stay relevant and resonate with audiences
Use insights to develop compelling, audience-focused solutions that drive meaningful engagement
Reporting & Insights
Monitor campaign performance globally, compiling insights and recommendations in detailed client reports
Identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, sharing learnings with clients and the internal teams
REQUIRED SKILLSET
Proven experience managing global lifestyle brand accounts, ideally in the alcohol sector
Experience in complex stakeholder management
Strong understanding of the global media landscape and experience delivering standout brand storytelling
Demonstrable ability to shift priorities and multi-task within a fast-paced environment
Expertise in overseeing the delivery of high-profile events with influencers, KOLs, and press attendees by partner agencies
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-agency collaborations and navigate complex global partnerships
Strong organisational and commercial acumen, ensuring projects meet timelines and financial targets
Proficiency in creative problem-solving, strategic thinking, and team leadership
Exceptional relationship-building skills, fostering trust with clients and colleagues alike
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL
Have at least 8 years experience including experience working on global accounts
Be a strategic thinker who thrives on collaboration and delivers results through innovation and accountability
Demonstrate cultural fluency and the ability to advise on relevant opportunities for client activation
Strong client facing verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including executive and c-level
Be a natural leader with a proven track record of delivering impactful global campaigns
