Full Fat x Brixton Finishing School Partnership
We are delighted to announce our partnership with Brixton Finishing School for 2024. The partnership includes a curated programme of mentorship, educational workshops and a paid year-long internship programme for the Brixton Finishing School community, helping to break down career barriers for underrepresented groups.
The partnership aligns with our mission at Full Fat to change the marketing industry for the better and supports our DE & I commitments to improve our workplace, agency work, and being an active ally. We’re extremely happy to be working with such an inspiring team and talented community.
Brixton Finishing School plays a pivotal role in breaking down barriers by connecting talent from underrepresented communities to industry employers offering free, award-winning programmes across the Marketing, Advertising, and Communications industries.
At Full Fat, we are committed to removing all barriers to entry for marginalised groups. To achieve this, we have been continually working with recruitment platforms that reach diverse candidates like Otta, Banc Recruitment, People Like Us, Social Fixt, Diversifying Group, Diversify.IO, Reed In Partnership, and Taylor Bennett. Our exciting new partnership with Brixton Finishing School will further our shared goal of turning diverse talent into industry superstars.
What the partnership entails
Over the last few months, we have worked with Brixton Finishing School to curate a programme that will help us achieve our shared goal through knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and employment opportunities.
Talks and Workshops - Throughout the year, we will offer training on PR and Communications through talks and workshops at the school’s ADcademy Bootcamp.
Mentoring - We will support individuals from the Brixton Finishing School community through 6 month 1:1 mentoring
Internship programme - On 27th February, we launched a paid internship programme open exclusively to the Brixton Finishing School community. This role will involve supporting the Media, Social and Influencer departments, giving full exposure and upskilling opportunities across the entire PR mix.
